At 10:07 am on August 1, 2026, the Lianyungang Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a high temperature yellow warning signal: it is expected that from August 1 to 3, the highest temperature in most towns (streets) in Donghai, Guanyun, Guannan, Haizhou, Ganyu, Lianyun, Economic Development Zone, Xuwei New Area, and Yuntai Mountain Scenic Area in our city will reach 35 ℃ or above. The Municipal Emergency Bureau and Meteorological Bureau jointly remind people to pay attention to prevention.

The daily maximum temperature will be above 35°C for three consecutive days.

江苏省气象台2026年08月01日09时17分继续发布高温橙色预警:预计1日南京南部、无锡、常州、苏州、南通、扬州南部、镇江、泰州中南部地区最高气温可达37℃,南京北部、徐州、连云港、淮安、盐城、扬州北部、泰州北部、宿迁地区最高气温可达35℃~36℃。省应急厅(省防减救灾办)、省气象局提醒注意防范。
