Suqian Meteorological Observatory issues yellow warning for high temperature

At 19:31 on July 20, 2025, the Suqian Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a high temperature yellow warning signal: it is expected that the highest temperature in most townships (towns, streets) of Sucheng District, Suyu District, Hubin New District, Economic Development Zone, Yanghe New District, Susu Industrial Park, Shuyang County, Siyang County, and Sihong County will rise above 35 ℃ from the 21st to the 23rd. The Municipal Emergency Management Bureau (Disaster Reduction Office) and Meteorological Bureau jointly remind to take preventive measures.

Description

The daily maximum temperature will be above 35°C for three consecutive days.

Guidelines

1. Relevant departments and units shall make preparations for heatstroke prevention and cooling in accordance with their duties;

2. Minimize outdoor activities in the afternoon;

3. Provide heatstroke prevention and cooling guidance for the elderly, the weak, the sick, and the young;

4. Those who work under high temperature conditions and need to do outdoor work for a long time during the day should take necessary protective measures.
