Suqian Meteorological Observatory issues yellow warning for high temperature

At 17:40 on August 1, 2026, the Suqian Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a high temperature yellow warning signal: it is expected that from August 2 to 4, the highest temperature in most townships (towns, streets) of Sucheng District, Suyu District, Hubin New District, Economic Development Zone, Yanghe New District, Susu Industrial Park, Shuyang County, Siyang County, and Sihong County will rise to 35 ℃ or above. The Municipal Emergency Management Bureau (Disaster Reduction Office) and Meteorological Bureau jointly remind to take preventive measures.

Description

The daily maximum temperature will be above 35°C for three consecutive days.

1. Relevant departments and units shall make preparations for heatstroke prevention and cooling in accordance with their duties;

2. Minimize outdoor activities in the afternoon;

3. Provide heatstroke prevention and cooling guidance for the elderly, the weak, the sick, and the young;

江苏省气象台2026年08月01日09时17分继续发布高温橙色预警:预计1日南京南部、无锡、常州、苏州、南通、扬州南部、镇江、泰州中南部地区最高气温可达37℃,南京北部、徐州、连云港、淮安、盐城、扬州北部、泰州北部、宿迁地区最高气温可达35℃~36℃。省应急厅(省防减救灾办)、省气象局提醒注意防范。
