At 12:37 on June 14, 2025, the Wencheng County Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for thunderstorms and strong winds: Due to the influence of strong convective cloud clusters, a level 8 thunderstorm and strong wind have appeared in Maokeng, Shanxi, our county. It is expected that from this afternoon to night, towns such as Shanxi, Daqiao, Baizhangqiao, Qiaokou, Huangtan, and Pinghe in our county will still have 7-9 level thunderstorm and strong winds. Please be aware of the adverse effects of thunderstorms and strong winds on transportation, tourism, facility agriculture, construction in progress, and outdoor billboards.
