At 08:52 on November 16, 2025, the Zhenjiang Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning signal for a cold wave: affected by strong cold air, it is expected that the daily minimum temperature in most streets (towns) in the city will drop by 8 ℃ to 10 ℃ in the next 48 hours, and the minimum temperature in the morning of the 18th and 19th will be around 1 ℃, with frost in most areas. During the period of strong cold air influence, there will be northerly winds of force 5 to 7 on land and force 6 to 8 on the water surface.
