At 06:01 on May 24, 2026, Zhangjiagang Meteorological Observatory issued a strong convective yellow warning signal: it is expected that most districts and towns (streets) in our city, especially Deji, Houcheng, Daxin, Jinfeng and other areas, will experience lightning activity in the next 6 hours, accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall of more than 20 millimeters and 7-9 level thunderstorm winds and other strong convective weather. The Municipal Emergency Management Bureau and Meteorological Bureau jointly remind us to strengthen prevention measures.
