At 22:38 on November 11, 2025, the Xiuyu District Meteorological Observatory continued to issue an orange warning signal for strong winds: due to the combined effects of cold air and typhoon "Phoenix", it is expected that there will be 10-12 level northeast winds in Nanri Town, Daitou Town, Pinghai Town, and Dongqiao Town in our district in the next 6 hours. Please take precautions!

Description

It may be affected by strong winds within 6 hours, with average wind force reaching above 10 or gusts above 11; or already affected by strong winds, with average wind force from 10 to 11, or gusts 11 to 12 and may continue.

Guidelines

1. The government and relevant departments should do a good job in anti-gale emergency according to their duties;

2. Elementary and middle schools and units with relatively weak wind resistance should suspend classes and business, and reduce the number of people going out;

3. On-water operations in relevant waters and passing ships shall return to the port to avoid wind, strengthen port facilities, and prevent ships from anchoring,grounding and collision;

4. Cut off dangerous power sources, properly arrange outdoor objects that are easily affected by strong winds, and cover building materials;

5. Airports, railways, highways, water transportation and other units should take measures to ensure traffic safety, and relevant departments and units should pay attention to forest and grassland fire prevention.

秀屿区气象台2025年11月11日22时34分继续发布台风橙色预警信号:今年第26号台风“凤凰”今天22时中心距离台湾鹅銮鼻西偏南方向约245公里,中心附近最大风力10级(28米/秒,强热带风暴级)。预计“凤凰”将以每小时10公里的速度向北偏东方向移动,强度逐渐减弱。受其影响,预计未来12小时我区南日镇、埭头镇、平海镇、东峤镇有10~12级阵风。请注意防范!

Guidelines

1. The government and relevant departments shall make emergency preparations for typhoon prevention in accordance with their duties;

2. Stop large-scale indoor and outdoor gatherings, suspension of work, class, operation, market, and business (except for special industries);

3. On-water operations in relevant waters and passing ships shall return to the port to avoid wind, strengthen port facilities, and prevent ships from anchoring, grounding and collision;

4. Reinforce or dismantle structures that are easy to be blown by the wind. Personnel should stay in a wind-proof and safe place as much as possible. When the center of the typhoon passes by, the wind will decrease or remain static for a period of time. Remember that strong winds will suddenly blow, and should continue to stay. Take shelter from the wind in a safe place, and promptly transfer people from dangerous houses;

5. Relevant areas should pay attention to preventing mountain torrents and geological disasters that may be caused by heavy rainfall.
