Fuzhou Meteorological Observatory changed the yellow warning signal for strong winds at 20:16 on August 8, 2026: It is expected that within the next 6 hours, there will be thunderstorms and strong winds of level 8 to 9 in some areas of Le an County, Nanfeng County, Guangchang County, Lichuan County, Yihuang County, Chongren County, Linchuan District, and Nancheng County, accompanied by strong thunderstorms, short-term heavy precipitation and other severe convective weather in some areas. It may be affected by strong winds within 12 hours, the average wind force can reach 8 or above, or gusts above 9; or it has been affected by strong winds, the average wind is 8-9, or gusts 9-10 and may continue.
