At 18:15 on October 5, 2025, Suichang County Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for lightning: Due to the influence of strong convective cloud clusters, the Longyang Port has received a rainfall of 25mm in the past hour. It is expected that there will be strong lightning activity in towns (streets) and surrounding areas such as Longyang, Wangcunkou, Shilian, Dazhe, and Ankou in our county in the next three hours. Local areas may be accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall with an hourly intensity of 20-40mm, and strong convective weather such as 5-7 level thunderstorms and winds. Please pay attention to the adverse effects of strong convective weather on agricultural production, outdoor activities, transportation, and construction in progress.
