Yancheng Meteorological Observatory issues yellow warning for high temperature

At 09:25 on August 20, 2025, the Yancheng Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a high temperature yellow warning signal: it is expected that from August 20 to 22, most towns (streets) in Xiangshui, Binhai, Funing, Jianhu, Sheyang, Tinghu, Economic Development Zone, Yandu, Yannan High tech Zone, Dafeng, and Dongtai in our city will reach a maximum temperature of over 35 ℃. The city s emergency and meteorological departments will jointly remind everyone to take precautions.

Description

The daily maximum temperature will be above 35°C for three consecutive days.

2. Minimize outdoor activities in the afternoon;

江苏省气象台2025年08月20日09时14分升级发布高温橙色预警:预计今天南京、无锡、徐州、常州、苏州、南通西部、淮安、扬州、镇江、泰州和宿迁的大部分地区最高气温可达37℃,南通东部、连云港和盐城的大部分地区最高气温可达35-36℃。省应急厅(省防减救灾办)、省气象局提醒注意防范。
