Lianyungang Meteorological Observatory issues yellow warning for high temperature

At 17:00 on August 19, 2025, the Lianyungang Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a high temperature yellow warning signal: it is expected that from August 20 to 22, most towns (streets) in Donghai, Guanyun, Guannan, Haizhou, Ganyu, Lianyun, Economic Development Zone, Xuwei New Area, Yuntai Mountain Scenic Area and Dongxin Farm in our city will reach a maximum temperature of over 35 ℃. The Municipal Emergency Bureau and Meteorological Bureau jointly remind people to pay attention to prevention.

Description

The daily maximum temperature will be above 35°C for three consecutive days.

Guidelines

1. Relevant departments and units shall make preparations for heatstroke prevention and cooling in accordance with their duties;

2. Minimize outdoor activities in the afternoon;

3. Provide heatstroke prevention and cooling guidance for the elderly, the weak, the sick, and the young;

4. Those who work under high temperature conditions and need to do outdoor work for a long time during the day should take necessary protective measures.
