At 09:58 on February 5, 2026, the Taicang Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning signal for a cold wave: affected by strong cold air, it is expected that the lowest temperature in most districts and towns (streets) of our city will drop by 8-9 ℃ in 48 hours from May to July, accompanied by northeast strong winds of 5-7 level on land and 8 level along the river. The lowest temperature on August to September will be minus 3 ℃ to minus 4 ℃, with freezing.
