At 18:49 on August 14, 2026, the Suzhou Meteorological Observatory issued a strong convective yellow warning signal: it is expected that some streets (towns) in our city s high-tech zone, Gusu district, and industrial park will experience lightning activity tonight, accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall of 20-40 millimeters per hour, thunderstorms and strong winds of level 8 or above, and other strong convective weather. The Municipal Emergency Management Bureau, Water Affairs Bureau, and Meteorological Bureau jointly remind people to pay attention to prevention.
