At 07:58 on September 30, 2025, the Taicang Meteorological Observatory issued a strong convective yellow warning signal: it is expected that most districts and towns (streets) in our city (especially Shuangfeng Town, Shaxi Town, Chengxiang Town, Science and Education New City, Loudong Street, Ludu Street) will experience lightning activity within the next 6 hours, accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall of 30-40 millimeters or more, 7-9 level thunderstorm winds and other strong convective weather in some areas. The Municipal Water Affairs Bureau, Emergency Bureau, and Meteorological Bureau jointly remind people to pay attention to prevention.
