At 06:35 on November 14, 2025, the Taicang Meteorological Observatory upgraded and issued an orange warning signal for heavy fog: Currently, visibility in our city continues to decline, and some districts and towns (streets) in our city (especially Chengxiang Town, Shaxi Town, Liuhe Town, and Fuqiao Town) have already experienced strong fog with visibility less than 200 meters and locally less than 50 meters, and it is expected to continue. Please pay attention to prevention.
Description
Fog with a visibility of less than 200 meters may appear within 6 hours, or fog with a visibility of less than 200 meters and greater than or equal to 50 meters may have appeared and will continue.
Guidelines
1. Relevant departments and units should do anti-fog work according to their responsibilities;
2. Airports, highways, ferry terminals and other units strengthen dispatching and command;
3. Drivers must strictly control the traveling speed of vehicles and ships;
4. Reduce outdoor activities.
