At 14:50 on January 30, 2026, Sanmen County Meteorological Observatory issued an orange warning signal for heavy fog: Due to the influence of warm and humid air flow and precipitation, there is currently heavy fog with visibility below 500 meters in some coastal areas of our county. It is expected that from this afternoon to night, there will be heavy fog with visibility below 500 meters on the sea surface along the coast of our county, as well as in towns (streets) such as Puba Port, Jiantiao, Shepan, Haiyou, and Hairun, and strong fog with visibility below 200 meters in some areas. Please pay attention to the adverse effects of low visibility weather on traffic and offshore operations.
Description
Fog with a visibility of less than 200 meters may appear within 6 hours, or fog with a visibility of less than 200 meters and greater than or equal to 50 meters may have appeared and will continue.
