At 5:20 am on January 16, 2026, the Qinzhou Meteorological Observatory issued an orange warning signal for heavy fog in the China Malaysia Industrial Park and Qinnan District: It is expected that within 6 hours, there will be heavy fog with visibility less than 200 meters in some towns, coastal areas, and nearshore waters in the China Malaysia Industrial Park and Qinnan District, which will have adverse effects on shipping and transportation. Description
Fog with a visibility of less than 200 meters may appear within 6 hours, or fog with a visibility of less than 200 meters and greater than or equal to 50 meters may have appeared and will continue.
