The Fangchenggang Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for lightning in the port area at 2:32 am on July 12, 2025: Currently, the thunderstorm cloud cluster is located on the southern sea surface of Qisha Port and is moving towards the northwest. It is expected that there will be lightning strikes in the port urban area, Qisha, Guangpo and other areas, as well as near the sea surface in the next 6 hours, accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall and 6-7 level winds.
