Wuzhong Meteorological Observatory issues blue warning for flash flood disasters

At 19:00 on May 15, 2026, the Wuzhong Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning signal for flash floods: it is expected that from 19:00 on the 15th to 06:00 on the 16th, there will be moderate rain (10-25 millimeters) throughout the city. Among them, the accumulated rainfall along the Qingtongxia section of Helan Mountain and the northern part of Yanchi County can reach heavy rain (25-35 millimeters). Therefore, the Water Affairs Bureau of Wuzhong City and the Meteorological Bureau of Wuzhong City jointly issued a level four meteorological risk warning (blue warning) for flash flood disasters at 19:00 on May 15, 2026. It is expected that from 19:00 on May 15th to 06:00 on May 16th, there may be flash floods along the Qingtongxia section of Helan Mountain and in the northern part of Yanchi County. Please take precautions.

Description

It may be affected by strong winds within 24 hours, with an average wind force of 6 or higher, or gusts of 7 or higher; or it has been affected by strong winds, with an average wind of 6-7, or 7-8 gusts and may continue.
