The Zhongwei Natural Resources Bureau and the Zhongwei Meteorological Bureau jointly issued a third level geological disaster meteorological risk warning (yellow warning) at 10:50 am on July 24, 2025: Currently, there is precipitation in the northern part of Shapotou District, the northern part of Zhongning County, and the northwestern part of Haiyuan County, with a cumulative rainfall of 0.1-8 millimeters. It is expected that the city will continue to receive precipitation from day to night on the 24th, with a cumulative rainfall of 30-60 millimeters in Shapotou District and Zhongning County. Among them, there is short-term heavy precipitation (10-30 millimeters) in the central and northern parts of Shapotou District and Zhongning County. Combined with the impact of previous precipitation, the geological disaster meteorological risk level in Shapotou District and Zhongning County is expected to be level three. To this end, the Natural Resources Bureau of Zhongwei City and the Meteorological Bureau of Zhongwei City jointly issued a Level 3 geological disaster meteorological risk warning (yellow warning). It is expected that from 10:50 am on July 24th to 8:00 am on July 25th, the meteorological risk of geological disasters in Shapotou District and Zhongning County is relatively high, and attention should be paid to prevention.
