The Nayong County Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow lightning warning signal at 08:05 on August 20, 2025: Within 6 hours, there will be thunderstorms in Zhangjiawan, Shuidong, Juren, Wenchang, Yongxi, Yulongba, Gongtong, Xuanwei, Liyuan, Shabao and surrounding towns in our county, which may be accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall, strong winds and other strong convective weather. Relevant units and individuals should stop working at heights and stay away from large trees, corners of walls, or areas with protruding metal objects.
