湖南省气象台2026年7月6日8时继续发布暴雨橙色预警：预计6日8时至7日8时，省内部分地区将出现暴雨，其中岳阳东北部、娄底西部、邵阳南部、永州西北部有大暴雨（100~150毫米），并伴有短时强降水（最大小时雨强40~60毫米）、雷雨大风（局地阵风8~10级）等强对流天气，请加强防范。橙色预警区域：长沙西部、常德东南部、益阳、岳阳、娄底西部、邵阳、永州西部、怀化南部。
