At 03:16 on October 16, 2025, Kunshan Meteorological Observatory issued a strong convective yellow warning signal: it is expected that most districts and towns (streets) in our city, especially Bacheng, High tech Zone, Zhoushi, Zhangpu, and Development Zone, will experience lightning activity within the next 6 hours, accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall of 20 millimeters or more per hour and strong convective weather such as 7-8 level thunderstorm winds in some areas. The Municipal Water Affairs Bureau, Emergency Bureau, and Meteorological Bureau jointly remind people to pay attention to prevention.
