At 13:08 on September 2, 2026, Kunshan Meteorological Observatory issued a strong convective yellow warning signal: it is expected that most districts and towns (streets) in our city, especially Dianshan Lake, Jinxi, Zhouzhuang, Huaqiao, Lujia, Qiandeng, Zhangpu, High tech Zone, Development Zone and other areas, will experience lightning activity from this afternoon to the first half of the night, accompanied by short-term heavy precipitation and 7-9 level thunderstorm winds and other strong convective weather. The Municipal Emergency Management Bureau, Water Affairs Bureau, and Meteorological Bureau jointly remind people to pay attention to prevention.
