The Jingjiang Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning signal for a cold wave at 8:40 am on February 5, 2026: Due to the influence of strong cold air, it is expected that the lowest temperature in most towns (streets) in our city will drop by 8-9 ℃ within 48 hours from the 5th to the 7th, and the lowest temperature on the 8th to the 9th will be -4~-5 ℃, with freezing. During the period of cold air impact, there will be northeast gusts of 6-7 levels. The Municipal Emergency Bureau and the Municipal Meteorological Bureau jointly remind attention to prevention.
