At 16:41 on August 20, 2025, the Jiangyan District Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a high temperature yellow warning signal: it is expected that the highest temperature in all towns (streets) of our district will reach 36-37 ℃ from the 21st to the 23rd. The District Safety Committee Office and Meteorological Bureau remind people to pay attention to prevention.

Description

The daily maximum temperature will be above 35°C for three consecutive days.

Guidelines

1. Relevant departments and units shall make preparations for heatstroke prevention and cooling in accordance with their duties;

2. Minimize outdoor activities in the afternoon;

3. Provide heatstroke prevention and cooling guidance for the elderly, the weak, the sick, and the young;

江苏省气象台2025年08月20日09时14分升级发布高温橙色预警：预计今天南京、无锡、徐州、常州、苏州、南通西部、淮安、扬州、镇江、泰州和宿迁的大部分地区最高气温可达37℃，南通东部、连云港和盐城的大部分地区最高气温可达35-36℃。省应急厅（省防减救灾办）、省气象局提醒注意防范。
