At 338 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 10 miles northeast of San Rafael Ranch Airport to 6 miles east of Puerto Rico to near Lasara Elementary School. Movement was south at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Edinburg, Mission, Pharr, Weslaco, San Juan, Alamo, Donna, Mercedes, Raymondville, and Hidalgo.
