At 10:03 am on August 20, 2025, the Xi an Meteorological Observatory issued an orange high temperature warning signal: it is expected that the highest temperature in most streets (towns) in Xincheng District, Beilin District, Lianhu District, Yanta District, Baqiao District, Weiyang District, Yanliang District, Lintong District, northern Chang an District, Gaoling District, northern Fuyi District, northern Zhouzhi County, northern Lantian County, and Xixian New Area will rise to 37 ℃ to 39 ℃ during the day today; The highest temperature in the southern shallow mountainous area is between 28 ℃ and 33 ℃, while in the deep mountainous area it is between 23 ℃ and 28 ℃. 西安市气象台2025年08月19日10时41分升级发布高温红色预警信号：今天至20日我市高温强度将进一步加强，预计今天白天新城区、碑林区、莲湖区、雁塔区、灞桥区、未央区、阎良区、临潼区、长安区北部、高陵区南部、鄠邑区北部、周至县北部、蓝田县北部、西咸新区的大部分街道（乡镇）最高气温将升至40℃以上（高温红色预警信号）；高陵区北部最高气温升至37℃～39℃（高温橙色预警信号）；南部浅山区最高气温在30℃～35℃，深山区最高气温在25℃～30℃，请注意防范。
