The Wenchang Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for heavy fog at 22:53 on February 6, 2026: Due to the influence of southeast airflow, fog with visibility less than 500 meters may appear in various towns of our city from 03:00 to 09:00 on the 7th, which will affect vehicles passing through the Haiwen Expressway (roughly from Haikou City to Wenchang City) section. It is recommended that the transportation department take preventive measures.
Description
Fog with visibility less than 500 meters may appear within 12 hours, or fog with visibility less than 500 meters and greater than or equal to 200 meters may have appeared and will continue.
