Weining County Meteorological Observatory issues yellow warning for heavy fog

At 20:21 on December 9, 2025, the Weining County Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for heavy fog: it is expected that in the next 12 hours, there will be heavy fog with visibility less than 500 meters in Shimen, Yungui, Longjie, Xueshan, Guanfenghai, Xiaohai, Shuanglong, Ertang, Lushan, Longchang and surrounding towns (streets) in our county. The public is requested to reduce outdoor activities, drivers to control vehicle speed to ensure safety, and relevant units and individuals are requested to do a good job in dealing with heavy fog.

Description

Fog with visibility less than 500 meters may appear within 12 hours, or fog with visibility less than 500 meters and greater than or equal to 200 meters may have appeared and will continue.

威宁县气象台2025年12月09日11时16分发布大风蓝色预警信号:预计未来24小时,我县炉山、板底、开华、观风海等部分乡镇(街道)将受到大风影响,平均风力可达6级,阵风7级且可能持续。请检查门窗、室外设备,妥善处置室外易落物品等;公众外出时尽量不要在玻璃门窗、广告牌附近逗留;加强公园、景区、游乐场所、水上水下、码头、高空等户外作业及活动管理,船舶谨慎驾驶或者停航;请相关部门做好防范应对工作,注意防范由于大风引起的各类灾害事故。
