At 16:25 on January 17, 2026, the Tongwei County Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning signal for a cold wave: affected by strong cold air, it is expected that in the next 48 hours, the minimum temperature in towns such as Longchuan, Longyang, Longshan, Sizichuan, Pingxiang, Bangluo, Shichuan, Sanpu, Biyu, Jichuan, Xinjing, Xiangnan, Lijiadian, and Changjiahe in our county will drop by 6-8 ℃, and the minimum temperature in towns such as Huajialing, Yigangchuan, Beichengpu, and Maying will drop by 8-10 ℃, resulting in a cold wave.
