At 18:45 on March 2, 2025, the Kaihua County Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning signal for a cold wave: Due to the influence of the cold wave, our county will experience a severe cooling, precipitation, and strong winds from the second half of this night, accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall, lightning, local small hail, and gusts of wind above level 6. It is expected that the daily average temperature in all towns (Qinyang Office) in our county will drop by 11-13 ℃, and the lowest temperature in the morning of the 4th to 6th can drop to 3-5 ℃.
