At 12:33 on May 24, 2026, Jiangyin Meteorological Station issued a blue rainstorm warning signal: it is expected that rainstorm will occur in some parts of the city from this afternoon to the night, especially in Xiagang Street, Shengang Street, Ligang Street, Nanzha Street, Chengjiang Street and Xuxiake Town. There will be heavy rainfall with accumulated rainfall of more than 50 mm, and may be accompanied by lightning, 20-30 mm/h short-term heavy rainfall, 7-9 thunderstorms and gales. The municipal emergency bureau and the municipal meteorological bureau jointly remind to strengthen prevention.
