Jiangyin Meteorological Observatory issued a strong convective yellow warning signal at 11:54 on July 12, 2025: It is expected that some areas of our city (especially Huangtu, Ligang, Xiagang, Shengang, Zhouzhuang, Yunting, Nanzha, Chengjiang Street, and areas along the river) will experience lightning activity from noon to night today, and may be accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall of 20 millimeters or more per hour, 7-9 level thunderstorm winds and other strong convective weather. The Municipal Emergency Bureau and the Municipal Meteorological Bureau jointly remind us to strengthen prevention.
