* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall will continue. * WHERE...A portion of central Louisiana, including the following parishes, Avoyelles, Evangeline and St. Landry. * WHEN...Until 600 PM CDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1030 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area.
