Pine Island Bayou Near Sour Lake Additional information is available at www.weather.gov. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Calcasieu River near Glenmora. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Some roads upstream from Glenmora, including Strothers Crossing Road near the community of Calcasieu and Price Crossing Road near Hineston have two to three feet of water over the road and are subject to being closed. Flooding of forested areas near the river will also occur. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 14.4 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:45 PM CDT Saturday was 14.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.4 feet just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall will continue. * WHERE...A portion of central Louisiana, including the following parishes, Avoyelles, Evangeline, Rapides and St. Landry. * WHEN...Until 600 PM CDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 350 PM CDT, gauge reports indicated high water due to runoff and standing water from previous excessive rainfall. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
