At 539 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms 7 miles southwest of Ramirez, or 13 miles east of Hebbronville, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Zapata, Falfurrias, Hebbronville, Agua Nueva, San Ygnacio, Bustamante, Medina, Zapata High School, Randado, and Airport Road Addition. This includes the following highways... US Highway 83 between mile markers 738 and 780. US Highway 281 between mile markers 708 and 730.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Northern Jim Hogg County in deep south Texas... Northern Zapata County in deep south Texas... * WHEN...Until 730 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 528 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
