At 1148 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Summit Station, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Columbus, Newark, Lancaster, Reynoldsburg, Grove City, Gahanna, Pickerington, Bexley, Heath, Granville, Pataskala, Canal Winchester, Groveport, Johnstown, Baltimore, Buckeye Lake, Hebron, Millersport, Pleasantville, and Harbor Hills. This includes I-70 in Ohio between mile markers 104 and 134. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 AM EDT for central Ohio. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible. Locations impacted include... Newark, Heath, Granville, Buckeye Lake, Hebron, Hanover, Harbor Hills, Granville South, Marne, Thornport, St. Louisville, Gratiot, Toboso, Brownsville, Purity, and Interstate 70 at State Route 13. This includes I-70 in Ohio between mile markers 128 and 142, and near mile marker 144. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building. * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren. * WHEN...Through Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Several rounds of thunderstorms are expected through Tuesday night.
