At 17:30 on March 21, 2026, Alibaba Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for road icing: Due to snowfall and cooling weather, it is expected that from 18:00 on March 21 to 18:00 on March 22, G219 (from Lamela to Ritu County, Doma to Quanshuihu, Mayumula to Baga), G564 (from Baga to Pulan County), 302 (from Xiangzi to Diya) and some rural roads in western Gar, Zada, Pulan, Ritu, Gaize, and Cuoqin areas in our region are prone to snow accumulation, icing, and dark ice. Please pay attention to strengthening prevention measures. Defense measures: 1. In the future, there will still be intermittent strong winds of 7-8 levels in snowfall areas in our region, and high-altitude roads are prone to snow blowing, which will further aggravate the snow and ice accumulation on the road surface. Traffic, public security and other departments need to take preventive measures in advance. After snow, temperatures drop by 3-5 ℃ in various regions, with some areas dropping up to 8 ℃. Therefore, it is necessary to take measures to prevent and keep warm. 3. Drivers should take anti-skid measures to ensure safe driving.
