At 03:50 on September 13, 2025, the Yongping County Meteorological Bureau and the Yongping County Natural Resources Bureau jointly issued a Level III geological hazard meteorological risk warning: Due to the influence of heavy rainfall weather, it is expected that the meteorological risk level of geological hazards in most areas of our county will be Level III (high risk) in the next 24 hours, which is prone to geological disasters such as landslides, mudslides, and collapses, and requires strengthened prevention. Attention should be paid to the inspection, monitoring, and prevention of geological hazards and dangerous areas. Once a danger is discovered, disaster prevention and avoidance measures should be taken in a timely manner.

At 02:56 on September 13, 2025, Yongping County Meteorological Station upgraded and issued a yellow rainstorm warning signal: in the past three hours, the rainfall of Shanyang Town and Pupeng in Shanyang Town in our county has reached 40.8 mm and 46.1 mm respectively. It is estimated that rainstorm will occur in Shanyang Town, Bonan Town, Changjie Township and other towns in the next six hours. Please prevent possible waterlogging, mountain torrents and geological disasters.

Rainfall will reach more than 50 mm within 6 hours, or it has reached more than 50 mm and the rainfall may continue.

Guidelines

1. The government and relevant departments shall do a good job in preventing rainstorms in accordance with their duties;

2. The traffic management department shall adopt traffic control measures on heavy rainfall road sections according to road conditions, and implement traffic guidance on road sections with stagnant water;

3. Cut off dangerous outdoor power supplies in low-lying areas, suspend outdoor operations in open areas, and transfer people in dangerous areas and residents of dangerous houses to safe places to avoid rain;

4. Check the drainage system of cities, farmlands, and fish ponds, and take necessary drainage measures.
