The Chongqing Meteorological Observatory issued an "orange warning signal for high temperatures" at 10:50 am on August 26, 2026. It is expected that from 12:00 to 20:00 on August 26, 33 districts and counties including Liangjiang New Area, Yuzhong, Shapingba, Dadukou, Jiulongpo, Nan an, High tech Zone, Beibei, Banan, Tongnan, Hechuan, Dazu, Tongliang, Bishan, Rongchang, Yongchuan, Jiangjin, Qijiang, Nanchuan, Changshou, Dianjiang, Fuling, Fengdu, Zhongxian, Liangping, Wanzhou, Kaizhou, Yunyang, Fengjie, Wuxi, Wushan, Wulong, Pengshui, etc., with an altitude of less than 500 meters, will see the daily maximum temperature rise to 37-39 ℃. Locally, it can reach 40 ℃. Please take precautions.

The Forest and Grassland Fire Prevention and Extinguishing Command, Emergency Management Bureau, Forestry Bureau, and Meteorological Bureau of Wulong District jointly issued the "Forest and Grassland Fire Risk Orange Warning Signal" at 16:00 on August 25, 2026. All streets, towns, and townships in our district have reached a high forest and grassland fire risk meteorological level, and it is expected that there will be a level 4 or above forest and grassland fire risk meteorological level from August 25 to 29, which poses a high risk of forest and grassland fires. Please strengthen prevention measures in all regions.
