At 12:00 on November 6, 2024, the Tengchong Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a yellow warning signal for lightning: it is expected that in the next 6 hours, there will be scattered lightning activity in towns (streets) such as Houqiao, Jietou, Diantan, Mingguang, Mazhan, Qushi, Gudong, Tengyue, Xiyuan, Mangbang, Wuhe, Beihai, Qingshui, Hehua, Zhonghe, Heshun, Xinhua, Puchuan, and Tuantian in our city. Local areas may be accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall, strong winds, hail and other severe convective weather. Please ask the relevant departments to do a good job in lightning protection. During thunderstorms, the public should try to avoid outdoor activities as much as possible.

At 11:10 on November 6, 2024, Tengchong Meteorological Station issued a blue rainstorm warning signal: the rainfall in Xinhualongtang, Houqiao Jinjiazhai, Qingshui Liangying and Tengchong Station in the past six hours reached 34.9 mm, 29.3 mm, 28.9 mm and 27.5 mm respectively. It is estimated that the rainfall in most towns in our city will continue in the next six hours, and there will still be 10-30 mm rainfall in Xinhua, Qingshui, Zhonghe, Lotus, Tengyue, Xiyuan, Houqiao and other towns (streets). Pay attention to the drainage of roads, farmland, fish ponds, and dams. The public should pay attention to safety when going out. Personnel in danger zones should closely observe the surrounding environment.
