Shangri La Meteorological Observatory issues yellow warning for geological hazards and meteorological risks

At 10:50 am on September 4, 2026, the Shangri La Meteorological Observatory and the Shangri La Natural Resources Bureau jointly issued a Level III geological disaster meteorological risk warning: it is expected that the meteorological risk level of geological disasters in Shangri La will be Level III (high risk) in the next 24 hours. Please strengthen safety inspections in areas prone to geological disasters, reservoirs, dams, construction projects, primary and secondary schools, transportation arteries, scenic spots, and urban flood prevention, and do a good job in preventing disasters such as flash floods, landslides, mudslides, and mountain collapses.
