The Nanhai District Meteorological Observatory will upgrade the yellow warning signal for thunderstorms and strong winds in the entire area to orange at 9:25 am on October 5, 2025. The District Emergency Management Bureau and the District Meteorological Bureau remind you to stop outdoor activities and operations in a timely manner, and quickly take measures to defend against strong winds and lightning. Owners of factory roofs and other buildings with poor wind resistance should organize personnel evacuation as soon as possible.

It may be affected by thunderstorms and gales within 2 hours, the average wind force can reach 10 or more, or gusts of 11 or more accompanied by strong lightning; or it has been affected by thunderstorms and gales, the average wind is 10-11, or gusts of 11-12 accompanied by strong lightning, and may continue.

3. Reinforce port facilities to prevent ships from anchoring and collision;

8. Outdoor workers at high altitudes, waters, etc. stop their operations, and personnel from dangerous areas evacuated;

9. Be prepared for wind and lightning protection;

10. Pay attention to the latest news of thunderstorms and gales reported by the relevant media and notices about wind protection. Students stay in a safe place;

11. Secure doors and windows, enclosures, scaffolds, temporary structures and other structures that are easily moved by the wind. Personnel should leave the temporary structures as soon as possible, and properly arrange outdoor objects that are easily affected by thunderstorms and gales.
