The Nanchuan District Meteorological Observatory issued a "blue warning signal for strong winds" at 12:00 on August 17, 2026. It is expected that from 12:00 on August 17 to 0:00 on August 18, Jinfoshan Scenic Area and five towns and streets including Sanquan, Shanwangping, Nancheng, Shuijiang, and Toudu may be affected by strong winds, with gusts of up to level 7 or above. Please take precautions.

It may be affected by strong winds within 24 hours, with an average wind force of 6 or higher, or gusts of 7 or higher; or it has been affected by strong winds, with an average wind of 6-7, or 7-8 gusts and may continue.

At 9:50 am on August 17, 2026, the Chongqing Meteorological Observatory issued an "orange warning signal for high temperatures". It is expected that from 13:00 to 19:00 on August 17, the highest daily temperature in 15 districts and counties below 500 meters above sea level, including Liangjiang New Area, Jiulongpo, High tech Zone, Dadukou, Nan an, Yuzhong, Beibei, Shapingba, Jiangjin, Qijiang, Wanzhou, Yunyang, Wuxi, Fengjie, Pengshui, etc., will rise to 37-39 ℃. Please take precautions.

The Chongqing Forest and Grassland Fire Prevention and Extinguishing Command, Chongqing Emergency Management Bureau, Chongqing Forestry Bureau, and Chongqing Meteorological Bureau jointly issued the "Forest and Grassland Fire Orange Warning Signal" at 14:30 on August 16, 2026. 32 districts and counties in our city, including Liangjiang New District, Dadukou, Shapingba, Jiulongpo, Nan an, Beibei, Banan, High tech Zone, Tongnan, Hechuan, Tongliang, Dazu, Rongchang, Yongchuan, Bishan, Jiangjin, Qijiang, Wansheng, Nanchuan, Changshou, Fuling, Dianjiang, Fengdu, Liangping, Zhongxian, Wanzhou, Kaizhou, Yunyang, Fengjie, Wuxi, Wushan, and Wulong, have already experienced high forest and grassland fire danger meteorological levels.
