At 9:30 am on August 6, 2026, the Natural Resources Bureau and Meteorological Observatory of Malipo County jointly issued a Level III geological hazard meteorological risk warning: It is expected that in the next 24 hours, the geological hazard meteorological risk level of Yangwan, Tianbao, northern Mengdong, central Daping, southern and southwestern Malizhen, central and southern Xiajinchang, central and eastern Babu, eastern Liuhe, central and northern Tiechang, southeastern Majie, eastern and southern Donggan in our county will be Level III (high risk), which is prone to geological disasters such as landslides, mudslides, and collapses.
