At 20:33 on March 16, 2025, the Xiamen Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for strong winds: it is expected that the northeast wind in our city and along the coast will gradually increase in the next 12 hours. The maximum wind force in Xiamen s inland waters, major bridges, and high-altitude mountainous areas can reach 5-6 levels, with gusts of 7-8 levels. The maximum wind force outside Xiamen can reach 6-7 levels, with gusts of 8 levels. The maximum wind force along the coast from Chongwu to Dongshan can reach 6-7 levels, with gusts of 8-9 levels. Please take precautions. Current wind warning signal status: yellow (Siming, Huli, Jimei, Haicang, Xiang an), none (Tong an).

It may be affected by strong winds within 12 hours, the average wind force can reach 8 or above, or gusts above 9; or it has been affected by strong winds, the average wind is 8-9, or gusts 9-10 and may continue.
