At 19:56 on March 1, 2025, the Xiaogan Meteorological Observatory issued an orange warning signal for a cold wave: it is expected that from March 2 to 3, our city will have cold waves, strong winds, rain and snow, accompanied by lightning. The average temperature will drop by 15-18 ℃, and the lowest temperature on March 3 will drop to -2-1 ℃. During this period, there will be northerly winds of 4-6 levels and gusts of 7-9 levels; On the 2nd, the whole city was mainly rainy; There will be sleet or light snow in the northern region during the daytime on the 3rd, and there will be freezing rain in some mountainous areas. In rainy and snowy weather, the roads are wet and slippery, and there is a transition between rain and snow in the north.
