At 11:37 am on May 18, 2025, Ji an Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for lightning: it is expected that within the next 6 hours, there will be lightning activity in some areas of Yongxin County, Wan an County, Jinggangshan City, Suichuan County, Qingyuan District, Taihe County, and southern Yongfeng County, accompanied by short-term heavy precipitation, thunderstorms, strong winds and other severe convective weather. Please pay attention to prevention.

江西省防灾减灾救灾委办、江西省自然资源厅与江西省气象局2025年05月17日11时15分联合发布地质灾害气象风险黄色预警：预计5月17日12时至5月19日08时，上饶市南部、鹰潭市南部、抚州市东部等地质灾害高易发区发生崩塌、滑坡、泥石流灾害的风险较高；上饶市南部局部、抚州市南部、吉安市西部、赣州市东北部等地质灾害高易发区和部分中易发区，有出现小型崩塌、滑坡、泥石流灾害的一定风险。
