At 11:20 am on September 8, 2026, the Fengjie County Meteorological Observatory issued an "orange warning signal for high temperatures". It is expected that from 11:20-18:20 on September 8, the highest daily temperature in 21 townships (streets) below 400 meters above sea level, including Hongtu, Gongping, Dashu, Shigang, Kangle, Fenhe, Caotang, Baidi, Kuimen, Yongle, Kuizhou, Yufu, Yong an, Zhuyi, Anping, Jiagao, Yangshi, Wuma, Hefeng, Xinmin, and Kangping, will rise to over 37 ℃.

The maximum temperature will rise above 37°C within 24 hours.
Guidelines
1. Relevant departments and units implement safeguard measures for heatstroke prevention and cooling in accordance with their duties;
2. Try to avoid outdoor activities during high temperature periods, and those working under high temperature conditions should shorten the continuous working time;

On September 8, 2026 at 9:50 am, the Fengjie County Forest and Grassland Fire Prevention and Control Command, Fengjie County Forest and Grassland Fire Prevention and Control Special Committee, Fengjie County Emergency Management Bureau, Fengjie County Forestry Bureau, and Fengjie County Meteorological Bureau jointly issued the "Forest and Grassland Fire Risk Red Warning Signal". All townships (streets) in our county have experienced high forest and grassland fire risk meteorological levels for several consecutive days. It is expected that from September 8th to September 10th, our county will continue to have high or extremely high forest and grassland fire risk meteorological levels, with a high risk of forest and grassland fires and a very high possibility of triggering forest and grassland fires.
