At 15:38 on August 13, 2025, the Quanzhou Meteorological Observatory upgraded the yellow typhoon warning signal to an orange typhoon warning signal: Typhoon Yangliu, the 11th typhoon of this year, was located in Tainan City, Taiwan at 15:00 today. The maximum wind speed near the center was 13 levels (38 meters per second, typhoon level). It is expected that Yangliu will move towards the northwest at a speed of about 30 kilometers per hour, gradually weakening in intensity, and will make landfall again along the coast from Xiamen, Fujian to Shantou, Guangdong from tonight to early tomorrow morning. Affected by it, the gusts along the coast of our city can reach 10-12 levels from this afternoon to tomorrow morning. Please take precautions!

1. The government and relevant departments shall make emergency preparations for typhoon prevention in accordance with their duties;

It is expected that Yangliu will move towards the northwest at a speed of about 30 kilometers per hour. Affected by it, there will be gusts of 8-9 levels and 10-11 levels in high-altitude mountainous areas in our county in the next 24 hours. Please pay attention to preventing the adverse effects of typhoons and strong winds.
