At 16:00 on May 21, 2025, Dazhou Meteorological Station issued a blue warning for the central and southern rainstorm: it is expected that there will be a heavy rainfall weather process in our city from the evening of May 21 to 22, and there will be heavy to rainstorm (40~80mm) in Dazhu, Quxian, Kaijiang, Dachuan District, Tongchuan District, Eastern Economic Development Zone, High tech Zone, Xuanhan, and some heavy rainstorm; Wanyuan medium to heavy rain (20~40mm), local rainstorm, maximum hourly rainfall intensity of 30~50mm, accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, gales and other severe convective weather. Please pay attention to preventing the adverse effects of severe convective weather, as well as the possibility of flash floods, geological disasters, floods in small and medium-sized rivers, and urban waterlogging caused by short-term heavy rainfall.
