Guiyang Meteorological Observatory issues orange warning for heavy fog

At 7:59 am on March 7, 2026, the Guiyang Meteorological Observatory upgraded the yellow warning for heavy fog in Yunyan District to an orange warning for heavy fog. It is expected that in the next 12 hours, some sections of streets in Yunyan District, Qianling Town and other towns (streets) will experience heavy fog with visibility less than 200 meters, which will have a significant impact on transportation. Please control your speed, drive carefully, reduce outdoor activities, and take effective measures to ensure safety at airports, highways and other units; Relevant units should refer to the meteorological disaster prevention guidelines to do a good job in prevention.
Description
Fog with a visibility of less than 200 meters may appear within 6 hours, or fog with a visibility of less than 200 meters and greater than or equal to 50 meters may have appeared and will continue.

1. Relevant departments and units should do anti-fog work according to their responsibilities;
2. Airports, highways, ferry terminals and other units strengthen dispatching and command;
3. Drivers must strictly control the traveling speed of vehicles and ships;
