At 03:30 on September 17, 2025, Yunxi County Meteorological Station issued an orange rainstorm warning signal: the rainfall in Guanyin Town and Tumen Town has reached 30mm in the past hour. It is expected that in the next 6 hours, the cumulative rainfall in some towns and villages in our county will reach over 70 millimeters. There is a high risk of mountain floods, geological disasters, and floods in small and medium-sized rivers in mountainous areas. Please take precautions.

郧西县自然资源和规划局、郧西县气象台2025年09月16日20时15分联合发布地质灾害气象风险黄色预警信号：预计未来一周受西南暖湿气流影响，我县有一次连阴雨天气过程，过程累计雨量50～100毫米，局地130毫米以上。各乡镇特别是前期强降水区域发生崩塌、滑坡、泥石流等地质灾害气象风险等级较高（三级预警），请各乡镇和相关单位高度重视，加强地灾隐患点的巡查排查、监测、预警，持续强化值班值守和信息报送，做好地质灾害防范和应急处置工作，发现风险隐患及时撤离受威胁群众，确保安全。
