The Suzhou Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for severe convection at 03:56 on September 6, 2025. Within 6 hours, there will be strong lightning activity in the main urban area of Sucheng and Qixian, Daze Township, Dadian, Taoyuan, Shunhe, Langan, Yangzhuang and other towns (streets) in Yongqiao District, as well as some towns (streets) in Xiaoxian, Lingbi County and Sixian County, accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, strong winds and other severe convective weather in some areas.
