At 16:25 on July 16, 2026, the Meteorological Observatory of Wenquan County issued a high temperature yellow warning signal: it is expected that in the next five days, the highest temperature in areas such as Haribuhu Town, Taxiu Township, eastern Chagantunge Township, and eastern Huhetoha Livestock Farm in Wenquan County will reach over 35 ℃, and some areas will reach over 37 ℃. Description

At 17:51 on July 15, 2026, the Bortala Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture Meteorological Observatory issued an orange drought warning signal: According to the comprehensive meteorological drought index monitoring, the current meteorological drought in Bole and its western areas, Alashankou, is moderate drought, the eastern towns of Bole are severe drought, and Jinghe is extremely dry. It is expected that there will be no large-scale effective precipitation in the Bole region in the next week, and there will be high temperatures above 37 ℃ in Bole and its eastern areas. The meteorological drought will continue. Relevant units and personnel are requested to be prepared for prevention.

Description

It is expected that the meteorological drought index will reach severe drought in the next week (meteorological drought is once in 25-50 years), or more than 40% of crops in a certain county (district) will be affected by drought.

新疆维吾尔自治区气象台2026年7月15日16时05分将高温橙色升级为高温红色预警信号：预计明天白天至23日白天（南疆、东疆到25日），南疆盆地、吐鲁番市、哈密市和天山北坡的部分区域最高气温将升至40℃以上，博州东部、塔城地区南部、克拉玛依市、昌吉州西部、巴州南部、吐鲁番市、哈密市等地的局部区域45℃以上，吐鲁番市局地50℃以上。请注意防暑降温和用火用电安全，并加强防范山区局地融雪型洪水。
